Do I need a 0.1 g scale for pour-over?
My kitchen scale only does 1 g steps. Good enough for V60, or is a coffee scale worth it?

Budget is around $200. I mostly brew V60 and the occasional AeroPress, one or two cups a day. Is a good hand grinder better than a cheap electric at this price, or will I regret cranking every morning?

Deciding between a stovetop gooseneck and the electric one with temperature hold. Do you actually use the hold feature, or just boil and wait?
Every two months: citric acid solution through the boiler and group, a long flush with clean water, then a backflush with plain water. Takes 30 minutes and my machine still pulls like new after four years.
Mine for this weekend’s camping trip: hand grinder, ceramic dripper, a bag of Huila and the Brightwave Camp Mug. Everything fits in the Canvas Tote.
Bought and sold a few machines over the years. What I check: scale in the boiler and group, steam pressure after 15 minutes, gasket condition, pump noise and whether the seller can pull a shot in front of you. What would you add?
