About Roastery Floor

Roastery Floor is Brightwave Coffee’s own production planner. It reads open orders and subscription renewals, totals the green coffee each roast needs and lays out the week’s batches across both roasters.

Hana’s team marks batches roasted from the floor tablet, and the plan updates available stock in Commerce so the storefront never oversells a fresh roast.

  • Batches planned from orders and renewals
  • Green coffee needed per origin
  • Batches marked roasted from the floor
  • Available stock updated in Commerce

What it can do

Roastery Floor asks for these permissions when you install it. You can see them again, and uninstall, in Settings.

Commerce

  • See orders, products, customers and inventory(read only)

In every store of the organization, including order history.

  • Create and change orders, fulfillments and products(can make changes)

Mark orders fulfilled, add tracking, edit products and adjust inventory.

Events it receives

Delivered as signed webhooks to Brightwave Coffee, in order and retried on failure.

  • Order created
  • Order paid

What it adds to SalesEngine

  • A “Production plan” page in the sidebar’s Apps folder

Pages open in a sandboxed frame; cards and menu items are drawn by SalesEngine from the app’s data, so no app code runs in your dashboard.

How it runs

Runs on the developer’s own servers.

How it reaches your data
